“In February 2025, 26 English speaking travelers from around the world  and myself entrusted Argos Destinations to shepherd us through a jaw dropping adventure in Egypt. It was for me an unparalleled experience, rich in beauty,  and exposure to historical knowledge. Team Argos accomplished this with their unique cache of Egyptologists, local connections and nuanced understanding of the culture,the sites, and the means to attain exclusive passage not available to ordinary travel package providers. We  ate our lunches and dinners in wildly unique locations–  places we never could have  just happened upon. Youtube’s Esoterica host, Dr Justin Sledge provided lectures throughout that explained for us the tremendous wealth of spiritual wisdom that was born in those lands. We were provided fantastic world-class hotel accommodations, with one  oasis/compound deep in the heart of Egypt (Minya). Again, this was a product of the team's deep knowledge and local connections. This was no slumming-in-a-hut foolishness; this place was a beautiful, special and thoroughly creature-comfort ready independent resort that sat just next to an oft ignored ancient home to some of Egypt's most powerful gods, and a crucible for unique spiritual aspirations. 

It also offered access to the true desert, away from ordinary civilization. We were drawn to the night skies that are not often seen, and we found ourselves vibrant and alive, alone and yet together, the line between the ancients and us was completely blurred. We made friends with our travel companions and maybe a little more so with our own selves, as well. This was a bespoken experience: Hired to bring Dr Sledge's vision to fruition,  Argos made it all happen and not with a corner cut. No expense was spared, and I saw Aubrey of Argos Destinations, quietly and without show, ensure that locals were given ample gratuity whenever it was remotely appropriate. These are not cheap and petty people, that's not why they do what they do. They LOVE their work, and it's edifying to see that in these often cynical days.”

I planned to tour Egypt my whole life but most particularly in the past several years. I spent a great deal of time exploring different options; different groups, perhaps solo or with friends. I learned that Argos Destinations offered a trip and at that point I was certain I’d found the perfect fit.  Once I got on board with Argos everything flowed with the most perfect ease. It was an absolutely smooth, supportive process of planning as I just followed their lead.  I didn’t have to think about any details which was a delight enabling me to completely immerse in the experience and take in all the magic like a sponge. It truly was the most beautifully curated experience of travel I’ve had, and I’ve traveled quite a bit.

The pyramids and temples, the Egyptologist, the hotels, the food, the shopping, the encounters and experiences of dancing at the Zhar ceremony, and an evening with a Sufi master. Private time and ceremony at the Sphinx at sunrise, in the King’s chamber in the Great Pyramid on a Scorpio full moon, in the temples of Nut, Sekhmet and Isis, and in Hathor’s temple at Dendera, and Elephantine Island were my highlights in this 11 day full spectrum activation.   Aubrey’s perspective expressed in the itinerary and  shared in her lectures, ceremonies and generous conversations throughout the journey were pearls that enriched the history. added a richness that surely comes from her 25 plus years of immersion in Egypt in addition to her Vedic, Amazonian, Sufi, Andean background. I am different in the most perfect way as a result of this truly life-changing journey. 

The images and frequencies I now hold dearly are informing my path forward. I feel so connected to a cosmology that is incredibly enriching and expansive. It’s very exciting, and I will certainly travel with Argos Destinations again.

“It was my unmitigated pleasure to attend the "Technologies of Ascent Tour"—a collaboration of Aubrey Bamdad from Argos Destinations and Dr. Justin Sledge, whose YouTube channel brings much needed historical and philosophical rigor to the dissemination of forgotten or fringe topics in religion and the occult.
